Harrisonburg Green Expo

The Shenandoah Valley is an incredible place with so much energy focused on building a vibrant community. The perfect example of this is the Harrisonburg Green Expo. The only event like this is the area, the Expo is focused on bringing together resources that are focused on promoting sustainability in the Shenandoah Valley. There are exhibitors signed up that understand healthy food, healthy minds, and healthy communities. The event is scheduled for September 10, 2011 at Eastern Mennonite University from 9 am – 4 pm.

The event will feature workshops, exhibits, and demonstrations. There will be information on alternative energy, green building, local foods, sustainable landscaping, nutrition, and clean water.
