Alternative Energy Solutions Workshop

Charlottesville, VA – On December 14, 2010 the popular Green Matters Lecture series returns with a presentation on Alternative Energy Solutions for your home. This interactive event, hosted at the Charlottesville Community Design Center (CCDC) is free and open to the public from 5pm – 7pm.  This month will feature a discussion on “Alternative Energy Solutions.” With so much focus on solar and wind energy, how can we make a choice as to how to invest our resources? The first step should be conservation to reduce the energy demand, through a discussion with construction experts, seminar participants will understand the power of building small, insulating right, and reducing energy demand through a building science approach.

All workshops will be held at CitySpace in the Charlottesville Community Design Center, located at 100 Fifth St. NE on the second story of the Market Street Parking garage overlooking the east end of Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall.

This event is free and open to the public.
