Rebecca, head of the Harrisonburg Interior Design department, graduated summa cum laude from The Art Institute of Colorado with a B.A. in Interior Design in 2006 .  She was awarded ParExcellence Award/ Best Portfolio of her graduating class.  After serving as the In-House Design Assistant for a luxury vacation residences company, she relocated to the valley with her family in 2011.  She loves Harrisonburg for its small-town charm, easy access to nature, diversity, and one-of-a-kind thrift stores.

With a background in education and interior design, Rebecca helps clients bring their vision to reality through communication, creativity and problem solving, and a vast understanding of materials and the building process.  For her, there’s nothing more rewarding than watching the project come together from beginning to end.

Her favorite aspects of design are space planning, custom furniture, lighting and kitchen/bath design.  Rebecca provides custom designs for all budgets, ranging from consulting on a small remodel to full-service interior design projects.

Her passions include renovating her fixer-upper home with her husband, collecting mid-century modern furniture, crafting with her four children and walking their family dog.

“I don’t take my work lightly.  It is my greatest honor to collaborate with my clients so that they may live and work more fully and beautifully in their space.”
